Wanted to finish blogging about the entire event in this post but I've decided to have a part 3 to it.... Reason is because I got 2 FINAL papers tomorrow! Five fold Ministry + Homiletics... Homiletics is surely a killer paper!!! (I've got like 50 pages, 18,980 words to study) So no choice, i got to keep this post short and continue another day... hope u guys understand!! Really got to study....Do keep me in yr prayers!!

Last week in SOT already, will treasure this week so so much.

okay. I just turned 21 today! :) A beginning of adulthood. cool.

okie, my top 10 wishes.

1) Back to Gabriel's dream team. To be a cg leader taking a cg again! by DEC 2007.

2) To be more active and involved in the marketplace that God placed me in!

3) REACH OUT TO 21 FRDS within 1 year and get them integrated.

4) Increase in my knowledge by furthering my studies at Raffles Design institute! (Obtain my degree in Fashion Marketing & Management)

5) Start to give GOD more!! in offering and tithes...

6) Go at least 2 mission trips the next 1 year. (CHINA must be one of them!)

7) To love God more than anything else. Having better quality QT.

8) Kick away all bad habits!

9) Learn to save up!

10) Have a strong and healthy body!

My 21st Birthday Bash [Part 1]

19th August 2007 is really so special to me. Its a day I've chosen to celebrate my Independence day! Well, in Singapore 21 years old is the legal age of being an adult. So we'll normally have big celebration parties on this special birthday that will only happen once in our lifetime. To some, turning 21 might not be so important esp for the guys in Singapore...according to most of my guys frds, they didn't had big celebrations becos 80% of them were serving the nation during that period.. But gals will normally prefer to celebrate it and make it as memorable as possible! And I just happened to be one of them.

Right from the planning stage, its no longer just my bday alone. It involved my beloved members who are really willing to sacrifice their time and sleep just to make it happen for me. Its a team's project. Bday is not just bday party alone but its about a group of youths who are committed to go the extra mile for me. Just look at the invitation card you received. Not a single card is the same! It was specially made for you, my special friend and guest. I hope you will treasure it and look beyond the info on the card but into the love and effort put into each of them. And because the venue could not contain all my friends i know, i got to purposefully think of who to invite... so after nights I came out with the guest list with 178 unique names of those really matters and who are special to me. :) Hoping you will try yr best to make it to celebrate for me!

So after a week or so, time to RSVP... i got so many of you telling me "yea!! i will be there..." and we started discussing about your superstar outfit... and you sound so excited about it! I was really glad... and there were also some of you that told me you couldn't come and i am really fine with it... and tell you its okay.. and you was suggesting to meet me some other day! I smile as usual and told you no problem! :)

In the end, I got 119 guests telling me that they will be there. So i trusted their word and went ahead to ordered the cake and the food for all 119 of you. :) A 5kg cake, Food for 80pax(wanted to order 100pax but mum say 8o will do) thinking it should be enough for all of you! :)

FINALLY! Its 19th! YEAH! I was so excited to meet all of you... but the moment i wake up, i saw 5 messages on my HP telling me you cant make it bcos of this and that. Yea, its really LAST MIN. Is okay, then after a few hours, got another 6 telling me the same thing. I am telling myself, nvm la.. is okie... By 5pm, which is 1.5 hours before the party, i received a total of 20 plus messages from you guys telling me you are not coming. Am i sad? I seriously dun want to! I was looking fwd to meeting you guys in your superstar outfit as discussed... really. Am i disappointed? How not to? Tell me. Few days ago, we were happily discussing about it and a sms from you telling me you r not coming spoils everything.

I have already done up my hair, my make up and all ready to meet u guys... and all i get was LAST MIN not coming messages not from one or two but 20 plus of you. I tried to smile and tell myself i still got abt 90 plus guest.. not too bad!

Then I was looking fwd to see the rest that are coming at the venue! Yea, and to my surprise.. the turn up was really quite bad. 90plus becomes 60? hmmm..where is the other 30? Worst, they cannot make it and didn't even bother to sms me and let me know. Well, i calmed myself down and enjoyed the night still.

Why am I blogging all these? I really hope that you will learn to be a WOMAN / MAN of your word! Pastor taught us our word is our bond. I know some of you really got something urgent but how about the rest of you? I guess I will feel so much simply because PEOPLE MATTERS TO ME! Every single one.

God has also taught me to handle disappointments and expectation better after this... :) Dun worry, i am no longer angry but i just want you to know how impt you are to me. Dont need to say sorry, i just hope you wont do this to someone else cos its not funny. Mean what you say, say what you mean. Let your yes be yes and no be no.

Its Wednesday! Half of the week is gone. I left with 4 more days to my bday celebration. So far a total of 119 guests had already confirmed they are coming! YEAH.. I never had such a huge party in my entire life. Busy with so many things... SOT(assignments, preaching test, bible reading and so much more..), Lana's Confession and of cos my bday party prepration.

Met up with Jasmine(NOT my sister) and Keng on Monday to shop for my dress.. Hmm.. i wont reveal anything here on how am I going to look like on that day.. so to give u guys a little bit of surprise! Hahaha! Well.. for those who are not coming, i am very sure there will be plenty of photos after the event. I got 4 photographers altogether! Really looking forward to that day! :)

Yeah... went down to TuniK today :) We have made some changes to the Lana's Confession box, added much more stuffs! Feel free to go and take a look!! :)

Oh yeah, received my first bday present so far.. Its from Melvin, Roy, Mildred and the rest from Royal Culture family. Its a black Sinful tanktop. Really nice and i love it! :) THANKS so much!!

Had dinner with Paul twohill, Daphne (both singapore idols), Mildred and Melvin at cine's food court. It was really interesting man.. esp paul! haha. we were asking him to cut his hair and stuffs...lol! Daphne is real sweet. And she is releasing her album in Dec! Cool.

Oh by the way... I went to CGH for allergy test yesterday...The nurse poke 20 holes on my right hand for that test, you wont want to see how it looks like... i just pray that all those marks will dissapear before Sunday!! Super pain! :( I was like enduring the pain throughout esp the first 30 mins...argh, dun talk abt it. After the test, i met up with my doc... at first he told me... "There is no cure for you." I was like... what? no cure? Then he continued saying "This is a long term thing, now I got to tell you what options you have...

1) Continue with the pills and the spray for yr nose and see how it goes..(very slow to see any result)

2)Sublingual immunotherary - Its some kind of medicine you spray under your tongue and it must be followed regularly for 3-5 years. It can helped to control and maintain flu-less for about 5 years after that. But it will cost at least $1.8k a year.

3) Go for a 2nd Surgery for your blocked nose, This time round, Doc will cut away those area that are been blocked so that I can breathe better and hopefully it will also help to improve my running nose problem.. oh and Doc explained that my center nose bone is a little bit to the right so need to straighten it too...

After spoken to my family members, i have decided to go for a 2nd Surgery, the one i had in June only managed to stop my nose from bleeding but blocked nose is still quite bad. And i will get headache quite often recently... Doc said its becos i am alleged and sensitive to Dust Mites.

And normally those with sinus and asthma problem have no choice but to affect their school/work from time to time..

If you ask me one thing i regretted the most this year..and that will be not having a HEALTHY body throughout the whole SOT period..

Really sad, i got to missed lessons that I really hope i can be there..I wanted to give my best from the beginning... i really wanted to.. but my health is hindering me from doing that. Only left with 2 weeks plus in school..

Despite of all....I am still going to believe God for a miracle... it can only happen when i choose to believe.

I am very positive about this and I am believing God for total healing one day in His timing. :) I trust in Him! Yeah, so now, after my bday, after SOT i will be going for the surgery.. lets pray that everything will be well! :)

AWESOME WEEKEND!

Expected....Dr A r Bernard never fails to bring the church up to another level every time he comes! I have been tremendously blessed by his teaching on the cultural mandate and engaging the marketplace! And after hearing the word of God, i felt really strengthen and I could sense faith just arises from the inside of me and i know i can and i will make a difference in this world! I am really proud of our church's praise and worship team... esp the new worship song "God of my forever" tat KC wrote truly bring forth the presence of God.. As I sing, i could sense God's love all over me once again..and i renewed my love for Him again! He reminded me about the journey i have with Him in CHC the last 7 years.. hey, not easy at all, but God is faithful to me...I was able to conquer and overcome all the challenges cos HE WAS WITH ME, never once forsaken me. I am glad i choose the narrow way! Just like what the song says, "I stand here by your grace" Without God's grace, i wont be able to come so far. Esp in the last 5 months..i really really feel tempted to leave His presence, to just give up and just live a normal life... but When I recall how real God has been to me and how He had brought me through the good and hard times....I am truly glad that i stayed. :)

Praise God that i was saved in my youth! Building my life upon the foundations of God's standard of living since 14 years old, its truly worth it. Its my greatest honor to serve God; my lord and my king forever and ever,

I am glad to know that sales are good over the weekend! Thanks for yr support towards Lana's Confession! Will strive hard to give all a better shopping experience!

:) Okie, this coming week will be another busy week.... its time to focus on my studies again! Final 3 weeks in SOT! Exam on Wednesday, i will study hard for it! And of cos, 7 days to my bday celebration!!! Is so exciting. And i will be leaving to Batam on Sat morning and come back in the night for Batam emerge! Too bad i cant stay throughout the whole 3 days emerge(fri-sun) due to my bday, but i am still going to believe that its going to be another awesome learning experience over there. 2000 youths waiting for us. Looking fwd to it! :)

Bought a new pair of shoes today! hehe. so comfortable! And a nice little green vintage dress! hee..loving it. Gotta have a new hair cut, hair color and beautiful nails soon.... meeting my hair stylist on Thursday! I hope you will like my new look.

Well, its real exciting.. the past 3 days i had learnt a little more on marketing, designing and concept. At the same time, I really thank God for giving me such great friends who are always there to show me their support. Thanks guys! Its only the beginning, anticipating for greater things to come.

Too bad i got to give BBD(Business Breakthrough Dinner) a missed this year, but i will surely will be there for Saturday and Sunday's services! Wont want to miss out anything that God wants to speaks to the church and even to myself!

I really hope i can have a good rest... but it can only happen after SOT. I will make sure I give myself a nice holiday after that. ha ha! So for the last 3 weeks in school, really got to press on and keep on keeping on!!

by the way, started the first step today and that is to deco the box we've got for Lana's Confession.. It's the first time i do such deco and I hope i will get better as times goes! very soon....... I will be a SOT Graduate. How awesome is that? I am going to treasure the last 5 weeks of SOT. :)

Everyday counts! A history maker always make sure he/she live out the best in them every single day, 24/7. Time is precious, its something that we can never get it back. Once you miss it, you missed it. Wasted means wasted. What is done is done. Once its over, its really over. So do you think you still want to waste your life away? And missing out the things that God wants you to have? Personally, I don't think I want. Life is hard but God is with us! Life should be greater, more colourful... you should be stronger and wiser each day. You should be more bold than you are yesterday. You should be more creative than you are yesterday. You should be a better testimony than you was yesterday. Is no longer we who live, but is CHRIST that lives in us! Greater is He than he who of the world. Hold on to God's hand and never let it go. He will bring you to places that you haven been too... He will show you things that you never imagine before. :) He will lead you to right people that can help you to fulfil your calling and destiny in life.. He had planned everything for you even before you were born, what is there to worry? I know and I know my future is safe in His Hand.. The problem dun lies on God... is on us.

Will you choose to OBEY, TRUST, LOVE God 100%? Will you be willing to pay that price to be His Disciple? Will you make that decision to FOLLOW GOD every single day? Will you choose to lift up your hands and praise Him even though you are going through a HARD HARD TIME??

YOU GOT TO MAKE THE DECISION; now. :)

Sign up for SOT 2008, dun let another year past just like that.. if you got to make arrangement just to go for SOT, make it! If you need to give up certain thing in order to go SOT, give it up. STOP telling yourself that you have no money to go, because God is our provider. When He called us into something, He will make sure He gives us the provision we need. The KEY is: Mat 6:33! God will NEVER shortchange us.

SOT first overnight prayer meeting - Last Friday.

I was feeling VERRRRRRRRY tired when I reached home after a whole day of shooting with Sun that day. What I needed and wanted most at that time is REST! REST! REST! I got to admit i did struggle a little whether should I still continue to go for the prayer meeting.... in the end, i decided that I WILL GO.

I reached home at about 8.30pm.. and I slept from 8.45pm to 9.45pm. Yup, 1 hour of sleep is all i have. haha.
Prayer Mtg Started at 11.30pm.. :) The first session (1130h- 0130h) is a little tough.. trying hard to breakthrough in the spirit.. maybe because its been a llllllllllooooooooonnnnnnnngg time since i attended overnight prayer meeting! So got to take a little while to warm up. :P

But the presence of God was there.. real strong. :)

We had a break from 0130h to 0200h... thanks to Chee Kiong and Dai Qi for providing Fried Rice and Bee Hoon for our entire team as supper! haha! =) We had fun fellowshipping!

The Second session (0200h to 0330h)

I felt better after the break! And as we continue to pray, I could sense breakthrough in our prayers... and i saw a picture...

I saw myself walking up a staircase... but the more i want to move up a step higher, the greater the resistance. It's like devil is behind me trying to pull me back, pull me down..And in front of me, i saw all my CG members, i saw Pst Kong and Sun, I saw my buddies, I saw my love ones, I saw my visions...... in order for me to move up another level, a step closer to all that is in front of me, I will need to confess THE WORD OF GOD! I see myself moving up the stairs one by one as I quote the verses in the Bible!

Wow, then the Holy Spirit came, and reminded me about all the visions and dreams that's ahead of me, He reminded me that I am the head and not the tail! He reminded me that I can OVERCOME evil with good, I am MORE than a Conqueror in Christ Jesus! And reminded me the IMPORTANCE of God's word. It's truly the most powerful weapon to defeat the enemy. PTL for this revelation!

And I received confirmations on the things that I have been praying and asking God! I have a better idea where to head to after SOT! :)

Last session (0330h-0500h)

The most powerful session! We prophesied to each other! And my partner that morning is Pei Yu.

This is what she prophesied over my life...

"Jo, I see you going to countries... all over the world, I see you in china... I see you laying hands on the sick and the sick got healed...I see you preaching the Word of God and people got saved... You will be such a great influence, you will be a great woman of God... in the last days, God will be glorified through you Josephine......God will be glorified through you Josephine...God will be glorified through you Josephine!!!" As she prayed, i was imagining it too.

AWESOME! And we were so "high" after the prayer meeting!! Felt strengthen, encouraged and empowered!!! PTL.

My Two Role Models

Pst Kong

Pst Kong was with us in SOT last thursday and friday..He is currently teaching us Five Fold Ministry. :)

Happened to met Pst Kong in the lift for 2 times on thursday. (: The first time was during the first break.. there was a security guy, Pst, myself and another brother in the lift! So we started to chat in the lift. :)

Pst: Hey guys!

Me: Good Morning Pastor Kong!

Bro: Hi Pastor!

Pst: Good morning! Wow! (Looking at me) I like your hair colour, Nice!

Me: Oh, haha! Thanks Pst! :)

Pst: Heard that u guys had a great time this week in SOT! :)

Me: Yes Pst, we indeed had a great time!! Very Blessed!

Bro: Yes Pst!

Pst: Ya, that's good! It will get better!

Bro: Yes! :)

Me: Pst, have you eaten your breakfast?

Pst: Nope. Not yet! Didnt slept last night and feeling tired.

The second time is when lessons has ended and we were heading to take the shuttle bus! Pst came out from the hall and saw so many of us waiting for the lift as well...

Pst: Hello! Hi Guys.

Then silence for 4 seconds... as everyone was looking at Pst Kong unknownly. haha

Pst: Pls don't stare at me like that! haha!

Us: Hahhahaa.. ok Pastor!

Pst: Haha. we left only 6 weeks! I will continue tml and try to complete it when I come back from Europe Conference. Hopefully we will be able to complete the whole series by then. haha. And exams will come after that!

Such conversations will really brightens up my day. I thank God for Pst Kong. Really thank God that i am in CHC!!

I will never forget the first time Pst Kong spoke to me face to face...

It was during my first mission trip to Malaysia KL in 2005! We were having a revival conference at CHC KL.. :) And during one of the service i was serving as a stage usher that night... and during offering time, i was supposed to bring the offering bucket up to Pst Kong... While i was walking to the prupit, up the stairs... and suddenly Pst Kong use the mic and asked me to stop.

Pst: Sister, stop there. [The WHOLE church look at us]

Me: [thinking in my heart....oh no, did I did anything wrong??] Yes Pst Kong... (praying in my heart}

Pst: Are you from my church???

Me: Yes Pst! I am from your church! CHC Singapore! I am from Singapore..(hmmmm)

Pst: Oh! I thought you got A TWINS SISTER in KL! :)

Then Pst said to the church: Haha! She looked so familiar, i seen her many times in my church.. so was wondering did i saw the wrong person! hahaha

The Church: hahahhahaahaa........(laughter...)

Me: (Smile) haha. Nope Pst!! I am from Singapore. haha!

Pst: Okay. Come up now. :)

Then I proceed with my duty.. haha!!! I was glad that Pst regconise me! Was real happy that night. hee.

Another time was while i was working in SKIN last year.. then there is this day Pst Kong came and I was asked to serve Him together with Geri.. so there was i, very nervous!

Me: Hi Dr. Kong!

Pst: Hi....Sister, i havent get your name! What's your name?

Me: Dr. Kong, I am Josephine. :)

Pst: Okay, Josephine... how old are you now? :)

Me: Dr Kong, I am turning 20 this year.

Pst: Oh, when did you came to church?

Me: Was about 6 years ago Pst...when I was 14 years old :)

Pst: Thats awesome jo. :)

Pst then turned to Geri...: I always see her in church... sitting in front, first row....

Geri: Oh ya Pst..she is always ard...

Me: smile..

Pst: :) Jo, you were in our Cross DVD right?

Me: yes pst... haha... was featured inside. haha

Pst: haha! I watched the Dvd everyday...day and night... so kinda remember and have impression seeing you inside. :)

Me: haha, thanks pst! The album is really good.

Pst: Yeah, so have you gone thru SOT?

Me: Hmmmm... Pst, not yet...

Pst: Go for next year's one! I had make some changes to the duration of the entire course..

Me: Okay Pst, will plan about it and go for it! Yes Pst, changes are good!

Pst: It will no longer be a 10 months course... will changed it to 4.5months.

Me: Wow... ic. Thats cool. I will go and plan about it Pst.

Pst: Yes, go for it! :)

Really thank God for this year's SOT, i get to understand myself more and being stretch to the MAX! :) I am glad that I had made this decision to come bible school. And praise God for the opportunity to work at Pst Kong's office last month! Was there a total of 10hrs! Not very long but its was really an eye opener to me. Learned alot! :)

Plus the recent SOT lunch with Pst was good too! :) Last but not least, Pst Kong and I celebrates our BIRTHDAY on the 23rd August!!BLESSED~~

SUN

And also last week, SUN was back on friday for a HK TV Shoot all ard Singapore!!! It was from 1pm to about 8pm.. was there the whole day with SUN! Had a great time fellowshiping with her... :) Mark was there too. haha!
It was really tiring just to follow her ard singapore tt day!! But its all worth it... and Sun treated us dinner at the end of the shooting! Oh, was really an awesome time...:)

After dinner with SUN, i rushed home to changed for SOT's first Overnight Prayer Meeting!!!

Airplane Tickets
When to Buy: Wednesday morning.
Why: "Most airfare sales are thrown out there on the weekend," says travel expert Peter Greenberg, a.k.a. The Travel Detective. Other airlines then jump into the game, discounting their own fares and prompting further changes by the first airline. The fares reach their lowest prices late Tuesday or early Wednesday.

Groceries
When to Buy: Sunday — or Tuesday.

Had a long night yesterday!

Got CG BBQ at Joanne's place at 6pm.. it was really fun and i am glad tt our cg is growing!!! YEAH! PTL!! oh by the way, HAPPY BDAY XINNI! :) We love u.

Almost fell into the pool when pulling xinni up from it. PHEW!!! Thank God i didnt went in, if not....

Pls DONT throw me into the pool on my bday ok.... pls... especially my bday planners, i know u guys got some 'evil' plots. hahaha! DONT ok. Let me remain beautiful throughout. hahhaa~

After CG BBQ, i rushed over to Xiu Zhen's 21st bday! Took a cab from Joanne's condo which is just opp. changi prison. And guess what? The Taxi Driver do not know the way to CHANGI ALOHA. :( And he went rounds and rounds..and the fare cost $7. OH MY. $7 for rounds within Changi, first time. Is not the end, when i alighted...i found out tt...it was the wrong place! Its Changi Aloha main office not the chalet.. i was like fainted! :( and i ended up walking a distance of 3 bus stops to the actual venue. Nvm! Treat it as exercise! haha!

Okay, when i reached... mar, shi lin and the rest are already getting ready to eat! We had steamboat buffet. :) The bday gal was not there yet! Cos her flight from taiwan only arrived Spore at 11.15pm! So we were all waiting for her to come! Hmmmm.. Reagan, Shilin, Nixi and myself went to the airport to pick her up and the rest stayed to prepare the place. :) Poor Zhen, she lost her luggage! And all the things and gifts she brought from taiwan is inside! :( Made reprot and now just gt to wait for the person to contact her.. pray that she will be able to get it back!!

We brought zhen straight to the chalet from the airport... and we celebrated for her just 10mins before her bday is over! Thank God we made it on time!! :) Got her 21 beautiful cupcakes as bday cake! :) I love the way she has to blow the candles. haha! Yeah...after tt we present our gifts to her! Shilin, myself, Mar and some others gave zhen a heart necklace from SK jewellery... ;)Its Beautiful!

And I stayed over the whole night and we continued the fellowship...

left the chalet at 5.10am, reach home at 5.20am! And prepare for bible school....today we got to wear formal because it's my team's turn to take our graduation photo. Left home at 6.30am and headed to school!

School was really good today..esp the last part when Bobby lay hands and prayed for us!! God was there to minister to all of us.. it was really good. I cried..God is so good to me... He is really an awesome God...He is so good. Amen.

BUSY DAY

Morning in SOT!

Back in school after 2 days of MC. Thank God i am okay now! :) My classmates lay hands on me and we prayed for healing! AND NOW I AM TOTALLY HEALED! No more fever, no more vomits! PTL.

I want to walk in DIVINE health all the days of my life.
Lesson today is really interesting. :) Can u imagine Pst Ming bought ELMO to school? And it's super cute can. hahaha! He use that as a illustration! Enjoy it alot.

Thank God for His Word. This week's sermon on the mount is really for me. Especially the Sat's sermon.. Now, I have a clearer vision and know what i am suppose to do.. Hope everything will turn out well..

EOGM was great. :) Thank God for GREAT leadership in CHC indeed. 18 years and we are still going Strong... many more years to come! AGM is in September! Oh yeah, the lunch on monday with Pst Kong was AWESOME! So close up to Pst, hearing him sharing and all.. so blessed!

Things are really going fast in SOT. So fast!! Less than 2 months to 2 September, the graduation day. And in 5 week's time, is my 21st BDAY Celebration!! Oh man, thank God for a group of awesome peeps in my bday committee... it will be fun la.. just want all to enjoy when they come! More details will be given next week.. I pray that I can go to Bali for about 4days on my bday week. Hope leave will approved by Bobby! hahaha! :p

Now, got 2 assignment on hands and got Bible Reading to catch up with!! I gg to rest early... i need ENERGY for another brand new week that's ahead. Everyday is Pack Pack Pack. Pack with school, bible study, assignments, cg, bday preparation, catching up with frds and the list just goes longer and longer! haha.

I got this "argh, not again" feeling whenever i got to go CGH or any Doc. Body is rather weak recently..I pray for a STRONG and HEALTHY body... i wanna live in DIVINE HEALTH!!!

Breaking God's Laws

“I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do” Romans 7:15 (NIV).

Do you ever struggle to completely follow God, but sometimes feel like you're fighting against yourself? Paul understood, because he wanted to do what he knew was right, but he often ended up doing the very thing he resisted. You know that when you break God's spiritual law, there are going to be consequences; but what about breaking God's physical laws? When you don't take care of your body, God is not glorified and you can expect things to be more challenging than you'd like. God has set out laws and rules for your own good, because He wants you to be healthy and strong in every aspect of you life. If you will follow His instructions, you will receive the blessing that follows your obedience.

Dear God, I know that You have set up laws and boundaries for my own good. Give me strength to follow these and honor You so that I may receive the abundant blessings You have in store. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

All About Nasal & Sinus Surgery
What is nasal and sinus surgery?

Nasal and sinus surgery are operations to clear the nasal obstruction (blocked nose).
What causes a blocked nose?Your nose could be blocked due to:
Inflammation
Allergy
Swelling
Deformity
A Growth
Surgery is not the only ways of treating nasal and sinus disorders. If an operation is required, your doctor will advise you accordingly.

What to expect after surgery?
You’ll have a blocked nose due to the nasal packs placed in your nose to stop the bleeding. They will be left in there for 24 to 48 hours.
Breathe through the mouth. Don’t pull out the packs. You may have a mild headache, your eyes may water and your mouth will feel dry. To relieve your discomfort, you’ll be given mouthwashes and oral medication. You can take frequent sips of water, or some ice ships to soothe the dryness of your mouth. After a few hours, you’ll be allowed to drink some water. It is unlikely that you’ll want to eat till the next day.
After one to two days, your doctor will remove your nasal packs. Once they are removed, you are advised NOT TO:

Take any hot drinks within the first hour
Blow your nose
Tamper with your nostrils

And TO:

Carry on breathing through your mouth.
Sneeze or cough with your mouth open.
Use nose drops as directed.
Your doctor will see you every day. You are likely to be discharged about two days after surgery. Before you go home, you’ll be given an outpatient appointment and medication you need.

After leaving the hospital
Your nose will continue to be blocked for a few days due to swelling, blood clots and crusting. For the next few days to a week, you can expect blood stained mucous discharge from your nose.
You should rest at home for the first week after the operation. Avoid contact with people suffering from colds, coughs or other infections.
Do not smoke or visit crowded places such as shopping centres and cinemas.
You will be given medical leave until your next appointment with your doctor.
You may have to use nose drops as directed at home.
If you experience any heavy bleeding from the nose or throat, you must come to the hospital immediately.

As I walk through this 4.5months of bible school journey, doors starts to open up each day, opportunity after opportunity starts to knock on my door…

I thank God for everything.. really grateful and treasure all the opportunities that is given to me... i never regret making a decision to come to bible school this year.

there is a lot of things i wanna share, but just dont have the time to type it all out now, i promised a super long entry next week and you will be blessed.:)

well, its been a long long week... but a very HAPPY and SUNNY one! =) Ran all over the place to support my all time favourite singer, SUN! From her concert on Labour day, to Kbox Gathering (see pic below!)

then her Autograph Session at Bishan Junction 8 and lastly, send her off at the airport on Sunday afternoon. :) Her presence really makes a difference.. she is really AWESOME!

Sun, pls come back soon! (hint.. she will be celebrating her bday in Singapore.. hehe... ]

Other than a week of SUNshine, I also manage to catch up with my friends like mar, xiu and shilin...and yeah, knowing Nixi better!! I love all of them.. really. :)

To obtain my Masters in Fashion Marketing in Europe, England!

I really hope this will come to pass one day.....
All of you should know that going all the way to England and study will cost quite a sum of money..it may seem so impossible today.. but with God all things are possible! I believe I serve an extraordinary God.. The last 7 years since i become His disciple, i never once regretted or felt alone. He is always with me, every single day. He is my Father, the One who love me so much.. Because He is a GREAT God, i will have a GREAT future also. Amen..

God is my provider. I seriously believe that this vision will come to pass one day. My plan is to leave Singapore to Europe in about 2 year's time if not earlier...

NOTHING can stop me from fulfilling my dream. And I hope my future bf/husband will support my decision and hopefully go with me. I started to confess this everyday in my quiet time. I do not know how will things be like and very curious to know who will I become within this 5 years.. I am working hard towards this goal. Guys, pray with me and believe together with me...will you? =)

God Will Open the Door

"Pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message." (Colossians 4:3)

I believe God will never lead you into something that you can't handle in His strength. God is equipped for anything out there, and you are also equipped with this earth-shaking power. God has promised to walk with you through everything. So why would He lead you somewhere, and then just drop you? The old saying goes that God will never close a door without opening another, and that's probably true. When you keep running into closed doors, keep pushing through because if you faithfully follow wherever God leads, you will find your open door. Each time you fall short, just get back up with ever greater determination to accomplish the dream that God has planted in your heart!!!!!

Dear God, it's exciting to know that You go ahead of me to open doors of opportunity and service. Give me the faith and perseverance to keep following You wherever You lead me. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

First thing, wanna praise God for the EXTENSION of the DATELINE FOR our ASSIGMENT! We got one more week to complete it! =) You dont know how happy are we to hear that! Relief! Haha!

It's the third week in school now, been very blessed so far.. and greater things are yet to come!!

Oh ya, haha...and thank God for the opportunity to go on stage and sing the song with SUN.. hehe. Was quite nervous la.. you must understand that there was at least 8000 crowd that night! hehe. I never stand so close to her before...

Be Courageous

God says not to tremble or be dismayed by anything, because He is with you wherever you may go. That is such an encouragement, and it's absolutely true! You should be walking around in life without even the slightest amount of fear, because that is not the nature God gave you. You should refuse to be defeated by the things around you, even if they seem insurmountable.

Perhaps one definition of courage might be staying strong and moving forward, even when most would give up and even surrender their ground to fear. Be strong and courageous today for God and do not allow yourself to be defeated by fear or the unknown!

Dear God, I want to live and serve You boldly without being crippled by fear. Make me strong and courageous in Your power to do what You want me to do. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

hello... my dear blog readers.. :) Wonder where have I been?? SOT entry stop at the 3rd day then gone missing! haha. Well, one word, BUSY. Yes, Assignment STARTED already! Praise God..I got 2 weeks to complete a Book Review on "The Spirit-filled Believer's Handbook".. 52 CHAPTERS!!! Assignment includes A Bibliographic Entry, Content Page, Introduction, Content Summary for EACH chapter (at least 100 words per chapter) and a one page conclusion on personal effect of the book!! Dateline is 11th May 2007, 6PM!!!! I just got the book today and only manage to finish the introduction!! If you are reading this, and if you want to help me... pls say this prayer..

"Dear God, I lift up Josephine to your Hands, I pray that you will give her the strength and enlarge her capacity so that she will be able to complete her assignment BEFORE the given date line. It was raining heavily this morning when i reached Boon Lay.. and i have no umbralla! Was praying in my heart for God to stop the rain...so i board bus 179 as usual.. and when i reached, it was still raining very heavily! I was like oh no.... how am i going to walk from the bus stop to my school? So thought of waiting for the rain to stop then walk over... then out of no where... A stanger came to me and say.. "erm... take this(his umbralla) with you, i guess you need to walk a distance right?" I was like.. "Oh, den what about you??" Then he replied, "Is okay, if you want you can return this to me another time when u see me at this bus stop again.." Then i accepted his offer, took the umbralla and went to school!!" Praise God... He is my provider! :) oh yeah, I was the FIRST to reach the school today, earlier than all the international students! Haha. And book the best seats for my entire team! I cant believe it myself, i actually can reach school as early as 7.30am. Must be God.. He is strengthening me every single day! Amen.

third day of SOT.

Oh yeah.. I reached school at 7.55am. That's consider very early for a person like me living in the east! Hehe.Wanna thank God for the strength!!! Amen! There i was at the lobby on my way down to basement four..thought i could get the front seats... but when i reach the hall, the first 4 rows have been booked by international students!!!! They are so hungry for God... guess those who got the first row reached church at 7.15am or something? nevertheless, thank God for my team mates from China that reached earlier than me and had already booked 2 rows for my team! Hehe.. Yeah... Today's focus is on the Holy Spirit! During the praise and worship... we had such a great time again! :) Its one of the thing that i always looked foward too.. some of us got drunk in the spirit, got one sister burst into holy laughter. Anoiting was so strong in our midst.. We pray in the spirit for about 10mins. It really help us to build up our spirit man..

Oh yeah, Pst Ming is back! And Lessons are soooooooooo FUN when Pst Ming is here! Haha. He got this gift in him!! We are all laughing out loud non stop throughout the class today! HAHAHAHHAHA. The examples that Pst give is so cool. Haha! Renewed my love for the Holy spirit today... Expecting even greater impartation tml!! Praise The Lord!

Haha.. guess this is really just the beginning.. the foundation.. Pst was telling us that the whole month of May to the 2nd week of June we will see each other EVERYDAY, yes, including Sat and Sun! That's because Pst Kong will be teaching us on the Sermon on the Mount during the weekends. Really got to prepare our hearts.. assignments and homeworks haven started yet.. will get really busy in the days to come... but was very encouraged by what pst Ming shared in school today, he told us that normally when a person is in Bible School, he or she will surely experience breakthrough in his or her life, not just spiritually.. but in ALL areas!! He told us to expect the BEST things from God...just that we got to ASK GOD for it and KEEP PRESSING ON.. cos bible school is not as easy as you think... God will really mould us and the devil is waiting for the "right" time to attack us.. so got to stay focus and strong for the Lord. KEY: STIR OURSELVES UP!

Had lunch at KFC with Karen today. =) After lunch, we went to help up bobby and cindy with some SOT Admin.. til about 5.45pm.

Second Day of SOT.

We have a great Praise and Worship Session in God's presence this morning! I was been laid hand by Pst Derrek and could sense the Holy Spirit so strongly.. Pastor told us that everyday will not be the same, and we should always come to school with faith and expectancy.. Of cos keep believing God for mighty breakthroughs and encounters that is coming!!

Pst Ming got something on so Pst Audrey took over the class today.. :) Whoo! It was yet another great time in His Word! I am falling in love with God, His Word, His presence all over again. Today during worship, we sang First Love as the second worship... man... The moment i sing the first sentance, "I Love, Because You first Love me...." could sense God's AGAPE LOVE so strongly..and start to recall all the things that the Lord had done in my life so far, two words to describe Him- AMAZING & FAITHFUL!

I never regret making the decision to join SOT. Its only the 2nd day and I had already gain so much in the spirit.. God is good. He is so good.. Because of His love, i am willing to step out and do the impossible for Him once again..

Dear God, come and mould me, I want to be more and more like You, i want to meet you face to face and Lord, would you please use me? Here I am, SEND ME!

People! Dear People! Today is my FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! Praise the Lord, i am finally in Bible School!

Okay, yesterday was SOT Orientation! SUPER FUN!!!!!! I woke up as early as 4.45am and reached Boon Lay at 7.30am! :) FYI, I live in a beautiful esate called Pasir Ris! (27 stops from Pasir ris to Boon Lay ~Duration 1 hour MRT journey) Praise The Lord! haha..

First, want to thank God for a rain-free day so that the oreintation can be so smooth and fun!

8am - Registation, collecting of SOT Name Tag, Student Handbook and SOT 2007 Ring File..
9am- Briefing on SOT! Welcoming the students from all around the World! SOT is really a international school, for my batch, there are people from Singpore, Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, India, Canada, UK and We are the biggest batch of all...in total, there is 469 students for SOT 2007!

Oh ya.. i am in TEAM 11 and Chee Kiong is our Team IC! So cool and fun to be in the same team as my fellow zone mates like Chee Kiong, Dai Qi, Royston, Shu Zhen, Kelly, Karen, Pei Yu, Annie, Alvin, Yunli, Siew Wah and Emil...not forgetting my new classmates from China and Korea!

We had whole lot of fun playing amazing race. Thanks to our Sheng Ge, Bin Ge and Jian Ge for their motivation!! Hehe, although physcially is SUPER TIRING!!!

the best of all.... is we all played well and shown great team spirit..and because of that, TEAM 11 won the 3RD PRIZE for SOT Amazing Race 2007!!(out of 20 teams) Praise The Lord! Oh yeah, we each been rewarded $20 attributes vouchers! (came just in time for us to use it to purchase our textbooks!! )

Until now, our bodies are still aching! Haha... but its all worth it! Amen.

School offically starts today! Everything starts from the Basics.. this week we will go through CIC and Getting Started Lessons with Pastor Ming! I really enjoy Pst Ming's Class.. Its so interesting and.....funny! Of cos, with revelation as well. Even though its just CIC lesson 1 and 2 today, its still so good.. :) Well, its just the beginning! Pastor Kong and the rest of the pastors are expecting us to BREAK RECORDS AND MAKE HISTORY~ Because whatever we are going to learn in the next 4 1/2 month is what the pervious batch learned in 10 months!!!! And he told us that there will be 20 exams.. which means every week we have tests and exam.. It wont be easy for us for sure... but WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. I believe after this 4 1/2 months of Bible School all our lives will not only be CHANGED but also TRANSFORMED! AMEN!!

Well, busy busy busy march! There is so many things on my desk waiting for me to clear, guess my friday is burned. Got to stay back and clear as much as possible! God, double my productivity and capacity! Amen!

I seriously missed those time being a student.... hehe. 3 more weeks and i will be in SOT! I am really loooking forward to it! (believe by now the WHOLE world knows about it.. cos i mention abt it everytime i blog. haha!)

Alright, this Sunday we are celebrating Eileen's 21ST BDAY! Finally after so many years, my secondary school gang come together to chill out once again! =) I will take lots of pics for sure! And post it right here next week when i am free to blog! Yeah. kinda of funny to celebrate her bday on april fool's day! HAHA. but who really cares, just have lots of fun man! yeah yeah yeah!

After Eileen's bday.... on the 4th april is my bestie MARGARET SNG's 21st bday!!! Zhen and i decided to camp over her place from the beginning of her bday to next morning and we will..........! I will not disclose any other infomation here just in case Mar come to my blog! hahaha.

Spend alot of money on gifts lately. Well, but its ok, i reap what i sow! AMEN! =)

2 months had past. I missed the fellowship with them..i took sometime to "get used" to tuesdays not heading down to riverwalk or jurong church for meeting..... feel alot in the beginning.. but i know in my heart, i will be able to attend the meetings and be part of his dream team again. This period of discipline, i learned alot, treasure the things i have now and keep learning new things.. living out the best and be the best that i can be..

Last week, went for the Emerge beauty pageant interview at riverwalk, with my new look and pretty make up. I only know that I tried my best! But still hope can get into the finals! ;) I like my new hair cut..how about you guys? like it? give comments! TAG my cbox!

hey dear friends...

finally. my com is fixed and i can blog at home again! Recently been busy with work so no time to update my blog... sorry! Hee.

Hmmm... spend almost 12 hrs everyday in office.. cos auditors are here... so we got to clear all our outstanding stuffs asap and make sure our work is properly done as they will check.. so got to work a little harder this month! :) Time flies ah, Its already 2 months since I started working at Standard Chartered... whoo... thank God for Eileen and Eve with me at work.... they are the ones that help me to adapt so quickly in the office... and we know each other since sec 1! Haha... never imagine we will work in the same office and department before.. enjoy their company very much.. and soon we are going to celebrate Eileen's 21st bday! Whoo! BusY planning it with Eve these few days.. :) She is the first to turn 21 in my secondary school "gang".. so wanna make it memorable for her! Well, as for myself, also started preparing for my 21st birthday bash! It will be at Sentosa on the 19 Aug! (Yup, mark it down on yr calendar now!) Full Details will be out in Late June. Will sent out the invitation cards on e 1st week of August. :) I am very excited about it! Haha... just to give you a idea of how will it be like... i am going for make over( you will be able to see my make over album on that day!), getting some bands(my friends) to perform that day, lets rock that place man! haha!,you will see a specially made video on my life story...and of cos a special performance by me! (to know what is it, be there!)... and many many others. So stay tune k! Yeah!!!!

I want to make it so memorable because its a important day to me other than wedding! its a day i step into adulthood and a new chapter of my life. :)

Some of my friends approached me and told me to write a "Birthday Wish List" and yup... I am doing it now! =) Will post it out for those who are interested to know. =D

Thanks for all your concern... =) I am fine and is recovering from the loss of my uncle and all.. Will take the this few months to really charge up and get myself ready for what God has instored for me this year in Bible School!

Went thru the SOT entry interview with 2 ZS before service... they asked quite alot of questions but i guess i did well bcos I PASSED the interview!

Now, i am going to focus on God and get myself ready for bible school... like getting a lap top, buying the books needed and etc.. i want to give my best in the 4 and a half month bible school! Yeah!

14 Feb 2007- An unforgettable Valentine's Day for my family.

My forth uncle (from my dad's family) passed away on the 12th Feb 2007... And yesterday was his funeral. He was fighting against cancer for about 3 years plus and we are very proud of his courage and his boldness to hold on to the very last min...

It breaks my heart to see my 3 cousins (all gals, aged 18, 17, 9) and my forth aunty crying non-stop for the loss of their father and husband. I don’t know how much tears I shred the last 2 days. A lot of memories running thru my mind now as I type this…

Feel a lot. My dad cried yesterday for the loss of his brother.. Dad to me is always a strong man but yesterday, I saw another side of him.

Its also the first time, my family were together having dinner on Valentine’s Day. Uncle is now in Heaven. I thank God that he is saved.

Life still got to move on… and I have learned to treasure everyone that’s part of my life… not taking anything or anyone for granted. Life is precious, live it and live it strong.

It’s a brand new week and Chinese New Year is coming! =)

Will be having family reunion dinner this Friday at Family Buffet Restaurant located at Tampines Mall.. Really looking forward to it! Still remember last year at this time, I was working in SKIN and we had our reunion dinner at the Paris Buffet Restaurant at Marina Square…then we even managed to watch firework display right at the table we were seated. So fun and memorable.. Last year is special because I received a red packet from Sun personally! =) The “gold”- packet that she gave me is still properly kept in my drawer until today. Hee.

Well, haven really got the chance and time to buy any new clothes yet…went to Bugis last Saturday for a quick shopping… I only managed to buy some formal wears for work and a pair of heels from URS. Guess I only left with Tuesday and Wednesday after work to do so..

At first, actually I had some plans to go overseas with my sisters during the CNY period.. but in the end we decided to stay in Singapore this year…guess it is also a good time for me to fellowship and catch up with my family, relatives and friends! At least there is still something for me to look forward too! =)

Man is not perfect and Man makes mistakes …

Leaders are not perfect and we will make mistakes as well…

Well… I learned a very expensive lesson over the weekend…I won’t be able to share it openly but it really helped me to TREASURE God and what He had put in my hands and had given to me even more… He is moulding me to be a better leader I believe…

Its how do we respond to the mistake(s) that we had committed that really matters. Its either you learned and never repeat it again or you can choose to continue to repeat history over and over again... It’s all up to us to make a decision to change for the better.

The next few months wont be easy for me… but I know I wont go through it all by myself… really want to thank God for my friends that have been by my side all these while.. you know who you are… so just wanna say THANK YOU! Thanks for carrying the burden and walking together with me in good and bad times.. thank you my dearest friends. I love all of you!

Guys, always build your life on God and NOT on your MINISTRY… It’s your RELATIONSHIP with God that is and will enable you to sustain in this race… it’s never your ministry…. Bear this in mind.

Not matter what changes they might be, I am still the same Jo you guys know, the jo who are bold and courages, the Jo that will never give up no matter what.

I WILL BE BACK ! A much stronger, wiser Jo, I promised. =)

I hope you like the new look of my blog. =)

2007 will be a very exciting year and a busy year for me…

I want to make the very best out of this year…simply because it’s important for me… why will I say important?

a) I am turning 21 this year
b) I am going to SOT

I want to make sure when I look back 5 to 10 years from now, I will have no regrets at all…I want it to be the BEST year no matter what! Of cos, there will still be problems and challenges we need to overcome, but I am not afraid... I am ready for all that is coming. God indeed will not waste any experience in our life. I got a feeling or I can say I could sense in my spirit that this year, God will bring me to places that I have not been to in the past 20 years of my life… as I move on and enter into adulthood, what will the next chapter of my life be? =) MY heart is filled with anticipation and hope. Hoping that I will not waste any time and pray that I will be able to be a better leader, friend, sister and the rest of the roles I play in this lifetime.

My Top Goal for 2007? To be one of the top bible school student. It won’t be easy but I know as I work hard, nothing is impossible WITH God! Amen!

On the other hand, I have a vision to go Europe to further my education in 2 to 3 years time…I want to obtain a Master in Fashion and really upgrade myself in this industry. After hearing Pastor Eileen’s testimony few weeks ago, I am more determined to go all out for my dream. As I am going to pay for all the expenses by myself… so going to take this 2 – 3 years to save up all the money I need! I have done my Mathematics; it will cost me at least 300-400k for 4 years aboard. Am I going there alone or with any friend, I do not know… but one thing I believe…it will come to pass for sure! My greatest vision is to open my own fashion chains in Singapore and if possible, bring it over to all the rest of ASIA countries. It might seem impossible to man, but with God all things are possible!

My future is secured in the Hands of God, so I just need to stay focus on whatever I need to do now and leave the rest to God!

So before I leave Singapore, I really hope I will be able to rise up at least 3-4 youth/young adult CGL!!!!!!! And even I might be away from my home base, I know that in my heart, all these leaders that I am about to raise up will continue my vision to keep growing His Kingdom and making great disciples.

I am typing all these by faith. But WITH hard work and believe in Him, I truly believe I have a future so great!

my dearest blog readers.... I AM BACK! :)

Firstly, a happy happy 2007 to all of you... i know its kinda late to say it now...but is better than nothing! :) Whoo... its been ages since i updated my blog.... sorry to you guys waiting....I am back with LOTS of updates for all of u!

2006 was a very challenging year for me personally.......let me recall what are the "interesting", "important" and "meaningful" things i encountered last year...

Beginning of 2006, i got the chance to work for SUN in her fashion boutiques, SKIN and Ed Hardy! Still can recall how Lilian interviewed me.... i was so nervous then.... still remember the first jeans i sold cost $675! haha! :)

Working in SKIN was a wonderful experience..... those 5 months working there i got the privilege to meet people like Rev Ulf Ekman, Pst Kong Hee and alot of other celebrities to name a few will be Kelly Poon, famous producer like Lee Wei Siong and Lee Shi Siong. Not only i got to meet them there, i got the chance to even chat with them and etc.... the most memorable expreience will be the 20mins "fellowship" with Dr Ulf Ekman! Of cos not forgetting my wonderful and awesome colleagues at SKIN!

But sadly at the end of April...due to the heavy workload at work, and also the responsiblity of a cgl, i could not cope with all the things i was doing....and i got to make a decision to either continue to work in Skin full time and give up my position in church as a cgl or give up my job in Skin and continue to be a cgl to impact and change lives... It was a HARD DECISION that i got to make...On one hand, I love fashion and would want to open my own fashion boutiques in 10 years time....working in SKIN will surely be a place that will help me to bring that vision a step closer. . but on the other hand, being a leader to impact lives was my calling and its what i love doing ..... with all these considerations in mind, i prayed and fasted for one whole month.... and i decided to give up my job in SKIN and continue to be a leader in His kingdom!

Oh Ya! Not forgetting i went to SURABAYA for a one week Mission Trip with Pst Kenneth and the team in April! Let me tell you, it is a decision that I NEVER REGRET making... Through the mission trip, I learned lessons and cultivated attitudes that money cannot buy. I also experience so much of God during that one week trip. It was really worthwhile....

After coming back from the first mission trip of the year, i continue my mission journey to Taiwan EMERGE Mission Trip! WOW! Another POWERFUL EXPERIENCE! I love Taiwan so much, from the people, food, fashion and the exciting night life!! :) So much to share la... haha just hope that I can go back this year! Yeah!!

Coming back from Taiwan Mission Trip, I got a new job offering me as a personal development coach. I worked there for about 4 months..it was another coaching experience I will not forget in my life... going from school to school in Singapore, giving them workshops and etc..it was really very fulfilling! Hmmm.... but at the end of November, due to some sensitive issue, i decided to leave the job and find a new job!

With the help of my secondary school friend, i managed to got a job in Standard Chartered Bank within 2 days..and having worked there for about 1 week now, I really thank God for His favour upon me... i can easily get along with my colleagues and adapt to a new working enviorment! :)

this was how it started..

05 11 2003- Still remember I was just 17 years old. It was a Friday evening, waited for Gabriel at Seng Kang Mrt. It was my first time meeting the cg that night, feeling so excited but yet nervous and wonder how will it be.. soon, Gabriel and I reached the cg venue..saw all the unfamiliar faces sitting in front of me. Gabriel introduced me to the cg and told them that I will be their cg leader from that day onwards.. some were shocked and could not believe that their leader is actually a 17 year old girl. haha! Some look doubtful but yet they still believe and accept the fact that i will be their new cg leader. :)

Soon, i took over the group totally...started our first discipleship, first prayer meeting and etc.... Nicole's Hse were soon a place that we always meet every week...=)

Cindy, Rina, Yong Xiu, Delia, Nicole, Hubert, Melvin, Merry, Hui Qian, John and Tian Jin ! =)

Although the cg wasn't very big, but the love that we have for God and for one other really bonded us together... :) We enjoyed each another's company and all...

By the grace of God....after much prayers, fastings, planning, disciplship and staying focus on our vision to reach the lost....more joined us!!

After the cg gt disbanded....

Gabriel gave me another group of awesome peeps to lead! They are none other than N144! :) This grp is different.. is the first young adult cg I ever lead in my life. . with the oldest member aged 27. Its yet another challenge for me! Cos i was all along a Youth Leader... and now, got to lead a group of young adults! Hee! Full of faith and excitement, I take up the challenge!

Its been a wonderful jounery leading them for the past 9 months and I am proud to say in two days time, we are MULTIPLYING! Praise God!!!!!!!!!!

And as of Dec 2006, N3XX will be born!!!!!

This time, i am nt gg to let God down, i may failed once leading a youth CG but it will never happen again!!!!!

N3xx will grow in the name of JESUS!!!

In the Marketplace!

phew... so many students to meet, so many workshops to conduct! Dun get me wrong... i am not complaining... =) infact i love my job so much. Even recently quite alot of stuffs happened in the company but well, i believe there is no perfect job and people or even perfect boss.... so every job has its good and bad~

Time files and as the secondary school students holiday are drawing nearer, it means i got even more things to do! hahaha...Let me share with you what is my schedule like....

27 Nov - 2 Dec - 6 days 5 night SOAR Junior and Junior High camp at Bintan.

10th Dec- 13th Dec -I am flying over to SURABAYA! Pastor Raymond and Pastor Nina had invited me over to preach again!!! And this time, I am going there "alone" not with church as a mission trip... And I felt real thankful for this opportunity that God had given me! And the only thing i need to pay is just the Airfare! The rest are been taken care of by my beloved friends in Surabaya! I am so so so ooooooooooooo blessed....!

God is Good! :)

After the trip to Surabaya, i am going back to Bintan for a few other camp... and there go my December...its nt the end! 2nd week of Jan 2007 the leaders are going to have overseas retreat! Destination is still deciding now.... and and and... during the chinese new year season...I will be flying off to Korea for a week with my beloved sisters isabelle and jas! Yay! I love holiday...

I am saving to go US by end of next year too! :)

In the midst of all these.... i am also busy doing research on fashion and the latest trend/style for the next season...... busy brain stoming of a name for my ONLINE BOUTIQUE which i am going to launch in March 2007! And dun worry, it wont be another "blog site" selling almost the same things with the rest.... because I always believe in the power CREATIVITY! YEAH!

I need God more and more each day.... Cg multipliying in less than a month...... How blessed I am to be able to do what i am doing now and i believe its just the beginning! GREATER THINGS is coming i believe with all my heart! :)

Be future focused!

God promises you new mercies each morning. That means even though you may have done something last week that you're not proud of, you don't have to carry that around with you. You simply need to receive God's mercy and forgiveness today and go on. Dream a new dream. God still has great things in store for you. But you have to do your part and keep pursuing it. Keep believing for God's best. Don't settle for second best, not good enough, or barely getting by. God wants to give you the very best for the brightest future you could possibly imagine!

Prayer for Today

God, I thank You for burying my past in the sea of Your forgetfulness and forgiveness. I'm asking for Your fresh mercies today. I'm asking You to pour out Your favor and blessings on my life. In Jesus' Name – Amen.

Grandpa looks better today...but Doc say we got to prepare for the worst... anything can happen....So again, Jas and I lay hands on grandpa and we started praying for him...

Service was good too... it was our vision weekend! I am so proud of my church!! :) We are indeed making a difference all ard the world!

Today during service, Pst Kong told us tat Pst Ming's bro and father has fall sick and he got to rush to UK ASAP to see them... so we prayed together as a church for Pst Ming and his family members...

After praying for Pst Ming... Pst Kong offered to pray for all those who have a family member or their loved ones who are sick at home, I knew I was one of them...so I lifted up my hands and the ppl ard me start praying for me... tears just kept flowing when i think of my grandpa...

Was ministered by the Lord throughout the service and there is really nothing compare to having JESUS in our lives....

Watched World Trade Centre with Stanley, Victor, and Monica at Tampines Mall later at night..... It was a good movie, personally I felt a lot for the victims of 911 after watching the film... I learned to treasure my life and what God had given me...

Alot of things happened at home lately, my grandpa is in the ICU at Alexandra Hospital for 2 days now since thursday..and I make an effort to visit him everyday without fail....dun mention the tears i shed when i see him....tubes all over his body and he cant even speak now... it kinda affected my whole family... especially dad, me, jas and bel... after this incident, i realised that my family is actually so so so so important to me...and i have make a decision to spend more quality time with them no matter how busy work can get.

CONFESSION OF THE DAY: I BELIEVE that my grandpa will be heal totally in His Name! AMEN!

Just came back from PULA SIBU!!! (for those who do not know, I went to Malaysia for 4days to attend a Coaches Training Camp or you can call it the Personal Power Camp)

The trip was GREAT!!!!

Made alot decisions and plans during the camp....
We had about 10 sessions altogther... Every session was a time of reflection and all of us are supposed to find a corner of the island by oursleves to think through certain issues in our life..and after that, come back in a group again and share it openly, accepting our own problems and make a decision to change...and of cos with action plans to help overcome it! :) Not only that, we also draw out our own FUTURE on a piece of drawing block each! And I am proud to say i have one of the nicest drawing. HAHA!! :p

Through the camp,I got the chance to know the coaches better! Xiu Zhen was my roommate and we had fun fellowship together...

and oh thank God for Baby RUBEN!!! This 9 months old baby spices out the whole camp!! he is SO CUTE................!!!

haha. Yup, it was a good break. I am back to fulfill all my dreams. :) Blog more another day! :)

And through that obedience and suffering He was perfected as to His humanity.

If the Master walked this path that led to eternal reward, how much more you and I? You are learning to obey with Christ at your side.He knows the way, having walked it Himself. Surely you can trust Him to help you no matter where your obedience leads you.The reward is found in your faithfulness to the promises of God, not the enjoyments along the road.

Faithfulness Is a Signet Ring

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
Galatians 5:22-23a

This is a wonderful fruit with a lovely flavor. In Swedish the word faithfulness is a combination of two words: faith and steadfastness. In Greek the word is “pistis,” which also means both faith and steadfastness. So on the one hand, faith has steadfastness as an essential ingredient, and on the other hand, faithfulness consists of both faith and steadfastness. Steadfastness is important. It is faith that holds fast. A choice has been made, and the decision is final. This applies both to promises and submission. It applies both to God and people.

Faithfulness is unselfish. Its opposite is faithlessness, which is selfish to the core. Faithlessness might be described as faithfulness only to the ego, a focus on self. If something serves my gain, I am faithful. If it does not serve my gain, I just walk out since I have promised loyalty only to myself.

This is why business partners let each other down. This is why nations break peace treaties. This is why relationships break up. The excuses are countless, and fault always is placed on the other party while in fact selfish faithlessness often is the root. I am faithful if it suits me and if I get what I want in the way I had foreseen. Otherwise I walk out.

Betrayal is perhaps one of the vilest injustices imaginable. When someone who is initially trustworthy and dedicated later walks out of a relationship, the floor drops out from under the feet of the one betrayed. Everything becomes chaotic. The sudden awareness of treachery, of deception, is devastating.

Therefore, betrayal ranks high on the top ten of evils. Faithfulness, on the other hand, is wonderful. It dispels worry and creates an atmosphere of trust. Faithfulness spreads. It can affect the atmosphere of an entire group. It can be passed on to the next generation, and best of all—heaven is full of it.

Prayer:
Lord God, guard me from faithlessness in every area of my life. Let faithfulness to You increase in my life so that it dominates in all my circumstances. In Jesus' name. Amen.

To be able to love people

PETER was an apostle who knew well the meaning of the words, "love covers a multitude of sins." Peter received three specific warnings from Jesus Christ and yet he denied his Lord three times. The memory of each painful failure was etched across his heart with untold grief. Surely he was not worthy of the Lord's kingdom. And yet when Christ arose, His love for Peter was unbroken.His love was as strong as it was tender in restoring the fallen apostle.
The capacity to love those who are unlovely begins with the understanding that God loved you when you were as unlovely as you could possibly be. "But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us" (Romans 5:8).With the love of God poured out in your heart (vs. 5) transforming you disregard the offenses of others.

Being a relevant and contemporary believer in the 21st century is really so important..

We have to consciously apply what we have learnt and adjust ourselves to be the light and salt of our generation. We cannot afford to remain silent. We cannot ignore the reality that people out there still think that church is boring and our God is boring. It is our responsibility to change that. It is our calling to transform their mindset and win them for Jesus.

my dear frds, my cg members if you are reading this...Let us encourage one another to the very end. Let's learn to dress sharp. Learn to communicate wisely. Learn to bring ourselves in such a way that would make Jesus proud. Learn to excel in our workplace. Shine for Jesus! Do not be an antagonist. Be a Joseph. Be a Daniel. Be all that God wants you to be! Do not withdraw from the world. Be in it though not of it. Otherwise how can we impact lives? I sincerely believe our walk with Jesus can be very exciting! With the Holy Spirit in us, every day is an adventure. amen!

Even for myself, God had gave me a vision to really impact the marketplace...at first i have no idea how and when but I remember I told God this.."Whatever it takes to follow You, I will follow.. til the very end...Lord, pls use me in a greater way..."
So I waited and stand upon His word.... and one fine day, my friend Ray introduced me to life coaching...and believe or not, that a confrimation from God....
Working as a full time motivational coach for students has been so fulfilling...and its only the beginning~ greater things is coming I believe.. :)

Since God has called me into this ministry, I believe He will direct and He will PROVIDE!: )

Forgive Yourself

You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Matthew 22:39b

Many people can forgive others and even receive forgiveness from God, yet they are unable to forgive themselves. Perhaps they have made a fool of themselves in front of others. Perhaps they have created problems for others. Perhaps they have wasted or even destroyed opportunities in their own lives. Now it feels as if it is too late—the train is out of sight and life has passed by. It seems impossible to forgive oneself.

But this is wrong. Are we greater than God? If God can forgive us, how can we not forgive ourselves? Our situations seem hopeless since we repeatedly fall in sin and repeatedly try to rise again. In the end we feel like giving up, and we may regress to even greater sin, despite the fact that we hate what we are doing. Self-contempt grows, and we begin to resent ourselves. This can develop into hate, self-destruction and a desire to punish ourselves.

We know God is good, yet we point to all our sins to prove we are not worthy of being loved. That is right, worthy of being loved. We think we are unworthy of liking ourselves. This is the root of the problem. Legalism is embedded in this notion of self-worth. We think we must be a certain way in order to be worthy of being loved. We feel we must merit our self-love, but since we never feel worthy enough to even love ourselves, contempt rises up. Time and time again, we condemn ourselves. Depressed and paralyzed, we finally give up.

But through all this, grace and love shine forth. God’s love flows out to us despite our weaknesses, mistakes and sins. He really loves us, and once we are able to love ourselves, we are also able to love others.

Prayer:
Lord, deliver me so that when I look at myself, I see You. Hope is found in You, not in me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

No matter how insignificant or weak or lacking in talent you feel, bring all that you are--body, soul, and spirit--and be joined to Christ. Never focus on your deficiencies. Only make sure you have given yourself fully to Christ. Allow Him to fill your mind with His Word and your heart with the love of Christ. Your abilities, great or small, when joined to Christ by faith, are sufficient for whatever He calls you to do.

Confidence in Prayer

And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will..., He listens to and hears us.

We are to walk in confidence in every area. Prayer is one of the ways we can show that our confidence is in God. If we pray about things instead of worrying and trying to work them out ourselves, we say by our actions, "Lord, I trust You in this situation."

I believe many of us pray and then wonder if God heard. We wonder if we prayed properly or long enough. We wonder if we used the right phrases, enough Scripture, etc. We cannot pray properly with doubt and unbelief. We must pray with faith.

God has been encouraging me to realize that simple faith-filled prayer gets the job done. I don't have to repeat things over and over. He hears me the first time. I don't need to get fancy in my wording. I can just be me and know that He hears me and understands.

We should simply present our request and believe that God has heard us and will answer at the right time.

Have confidence in your prayers. Believe God hears even simple, childlike prayer coming from a sincere heart.

Pray This:
"Father, I thank You that You hear me when I pray. I believe I have the petitions I request of You. In Jesus' name, amen."

Hey peeps... blogging from office today. :)

How can I forget to bring my jacket when is raining cats and dogs the whole day! Haha! And that resulted of catching a flu! I had used more than 5 packets of tissue papers if i am not wrong! :(

well, leanred my lesson... and I will remember to bring my jacket and umbralla out the next time if its raining.. :)

oh, its already last day of AUGUST... times files... I really hope that month of September will be a better month for all of us!

I am learning to sleep by 12am and wake up at 6am every morning to pray.... Talks about discipline.. yes it is not easy, i am adjusting my body clock now..

I love my job as the days goes by... coaching is really fun.. One of my colleague Paul asked me this question..:"Is there any words/sentences that means alot to you?" I replied him.."Yes....for me is just three words, NEVER GIVE UP." Paul: "wow, can you pls tell us why is it so special to you?" Then I started sharing my life testimony and my experiences I had at Surabaya with my them and while I was sharing, the presence of God was there in our office... and i started crying. Its tears of joy.....I am so glad that I have decided to cling on to Him despite of all the challenges and problems I went through...I thank God that I never choose to leave whenever things around me just dont work out well.......

Then my Boss came over to me and spoke words of encouragements to me... "Jo, you are beautiful creation.. really. God has been good isnt He? You are a gift yourself." Then he smiled and gave me a pat on my shoulder, saying.."you can go very far gal!"

Felt so encouraged today.. Truly, Jesus...my first love. I will never want to give up on this walk and my calling...

Dear Lord,
restore me, create in me a new heart, a heart that is after You. i LOVE YOU...I love you.....I love you LORD......

Dear frds, never give up! Whenever you come to an end of a rope, God is there to take over. He is a good God. Take care k. :)

had a hair cut last sat.....used the vouchers my cg gave me... hmmm... got a good trim and I am happy about it. Haha... thinking to change my hair colour to red... Guess will do so by end of this week.. haha..

23rd August. A very special day to me....simply bcos its MY BDAY! :)

Just celebrated my 20th year on earth! And i really want to thank God for everything~

I am so blessed to be born into this lovely family of mine.. i cant imagine how my life will be without my parents and my siblings.. :)

ya ya, I am now officially in my Twenties....ha ha.

so how did I spend my birthday? :)

Woke up at 7am with a heart of anticipation and excitement on this special day of mine.. :) I got out of bed and walk to my table to get my specs... and surprisingly, I saw some papers on my table... and it was from JASMINE! :)

The first piece of paper wrote this:
"Happy 20th Birthday, Princess Jo!"

The second piece of paper wrote:
"Okay, there is now 3 missions for you to fulfill. READY? 1-2-3....Go!

And followed by the third:
"Mission 1.... Find your present! *HINT: A place where all your clothes are found.....happy finding!

Forth:
"Mission 2: Find your birthday card! *HINT: Where a big fat "cat" is...."

And finally...the last piece of paper..
"Mission 3: Find your cake! *HINT: its with all the packet sauces! Enjoy Makaning!"

So i did as what I was suppose to do. I found my cake and present...and when i went to the place that the big fat cat is. . i saw there is another note there, it wrote..."Garfield: OOPS! Sorry, I am too hungry that I ate your bday card....*come back again later!"

i was like........JASMINE!! ha ha.. so lame can? :) but you are the SWEETEST.

I REALLY APPRECIATE SUCH THOUGHFULNESS!

So i got myself dressed up...decided to wear PINK on this special day .. :)

Reach office at 9am for prayer meeting with my colleagues! We had a good time praying and planning as well... Hence, the whole morning I was in my office working as usual.. but the atmosphere is just so different! :) Everyone seem to be "happier" and brighter today~~ I am glad tat they made my day... we had lots of fun working together! So at abt 1pm... my boss came into the office with my bday cake!! Yeah! So they sang bday song for me... ask me to say some words and soon we were all eating the cake! :)

I left office at 2.15pm to meet Margaret and Xiu Zhen at Orchard Mrt..We went to Wheelock Place and had Sakae Sushi for lunch.. :) WHooo.. great time fellowshipping with them the whole afternoon! No cake from them but a Mango Ice Cream...blow the candle, made my wish and then we started sharing what we want to do and acomplished by end of this year...

Rushed off to PS to meet my CG at 7pm! We had our dinner at Pastamania... I ordered potato salad and a HUGE cup of Mango Banana Smoothie.. :) (this is due to the sushi earlier........ i was still feeling full, so didn't want to eat more)

I really love the gifts tat my cg gave me.. A Trophy and $50 Storm Hair Salon Vouchers~ and a huge bight pink flower bday card! :) But i think I love my cg members more!! Thanks N144! :) Love all of ya~

Reached Tampines Mall, Starbucks at abt 10pm.. for another celebration with Victor, Felicia, Stanley, Reagan, Shi lin and Monica. We were all suppose to reach by 10pm.. but reagan and shilin got to stay back at church office til 10.30pm, Mon last min not feeling well....so Vic, Stan and Feli proceed to celebrate my bday first...hmm. they bought me a hello kitty cake. LOL. so cute... Well, nothing much, just a simple celebration....and Monica called to sing me a bday song too! So sweet of her~ We had lots of fun fellowshipping and as usual.. they start to ask LOADS of questions...haha but I ended up sharing my bday WISHES. haha.. yup, wishESsssss. I took abt 15mins to finish tt. LOL.

Reagan and Shilin arrived at abt 11.15pm...due to work the next day, vic, feli and stan decided to go back first....so I hopped into Reagan's car and the three of us went to Pasir Ris Drive 6 Coffee Shop for supper.. :) Reach home at 12.45am. I was very tired by then..but it was such a fruitful day of celebrations..

and now... my bday wishES.

A Perfect Heart

We are commanded to be perfect, and what God commands, He gives a heart desire to attain. Yet, this desire to be perfect can cause a great deal of frustration.

Perfection is a process that is worked out in our lives as we go from one degree of glory to another. There are degrees of perfection. We can be almost perfect in one area, and very imperfect in others.

When we give our will to God, we have a perfect heart. But even at that point, we still have faults, weaknesses, bad habits, and imperfections.

The Lord accepts us as we are and counts us as perfect while we are on our way toward perfection.

If you have given your will to God, this is step one. You now have a perfect heart, and the process has begun.

You are not alone in your travel from glory to glory. Paul said in Philippians 3:12,13 that he wanted to be perfect, but that he had not yet arrived. He pressed on to things ahead. He knew if his heart was set in the right direction (if he had a perfect heart), that was all God required.

Just came back from a movie with victor, cliff, dai qi and chee kiong. :) We watched this show call The Fast and the Furious-Tokyo Drift - my rating: 3/5. Not too bad! Catch it if u like car racing or something like tt. 2 things i "feel like" doing after the show: #1- Get a ticket and fly to Toyko. #2-get a car and drift too. Simply like the cars in the show. Just so cool alright, i think i will never be able to see such cars on the streets of Singapore. :)

Before the movie, we had dinner at Bedok Pizza Hut. Great time fellowshiping with my fellow zone leaders. Thank God I am in GT zone. :) YAY! Our zone did very well for last week's service. Ya, so all of us kinda of in celebration mood~~ hee. Our cute little princess Anthiel was there too and today she tie her hair~as usual she is SO CUTTTEEEE! *wHOOOO*

The past few days went to margaret's hse to stay. haha. just love fellowshipping with this great pal of mine. Haha~ enjoyed my stay there.. yay. Think i should put some of my stuffs over at her place in case last min she ask me to her hse to stay again, so next day i can go straight to work. HAHA.

Anyway, i got a new job! :) I am now a motivational coach for students at "Gabriel Suppiah Coaching Pte Ltd" and my boss is from CHC Business Breakthrough Group. The best thing is all the coaches that are from CHC. So no problem communicating and having common topics. :) By now, you should know what's my boss name.. yes. Gabriel. LOL. So now, my boss @ work is Gabriel, and my "boss" in church is also call Gabriel. So is this a sign from God or something? I am not too sure~ haha. Just find it so cool.

So what so great about my job? COACHING? what is that? Well, to me is just like a "CGL" in the MARKETPLACE! :) And of cos, we are well-paid. Yay, i can consider my self a 24-7 365 CGL now. I am a "cgl" at work and also in church~ That is like my dream come true! Being a coach now is so fulfilling. Seeing lives transformed everyday, families relationship improved bring such great joy into my heart. And i thank God for this opportunity to be a light that really shine in the marketplace.

So what we do as coaches? Go to school to conduct workshops and etc. :) And trust me, so far the students from the schools we go, loves us. We went to Tamasek Jc last wednesday. WOO. the respond was great~ Get to know many students there....

Cant share too much here but if u are interested to know more dun be shy to ask me personally... yeah`alright! Its getting late now, going to sleep already. Gd night everybody!

Faith's Patience

Do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.Hebrews 6:12

It is not the one who begins a race who is the winner but rather the one who finishes the race. Many begin, but not all finish. Many ideas, projects and grandiose plans have been thwarted. Many ideas, given by God, died in the womb. They were never pursued. No one put power to the words; no one was willing to sacrifice and commit to the cause until its fulfillment. Other times ideas were initially pursued with enthusiasm, but then the flame grew weak. Yet others continued a while longer, but eventually control was lost and the project died.
What happened? Several things. Focus was lost. Jesus was no longer in the center; His Word and His voice were no longer followed.

Perhaps the answer to prayer was a long-time coming. Some people are unwilling to sit for long in the “prayer answer waiting room.” It appears boring, and nothing seems to happen. Others become restless, impatient, irritated or disappointed. Things do not turn out like we thought, not in the way we wanted, nor with the people we wanted. God does not cater to our flesh but He is the giver of every good gift. God is reliable and faithful.

We, on the other hand, are often unreliable, and sometimes God tests the motives of our heart. He wants our hearts to be steadfast, devoted to Him. He is always committed to us. Time has meaning only for us. He is timeless. If we are patient, He will give us that which He promised. His faithfulness and generosity exceed everything else.

Prayer: Thank You, God, that we always can rely on You. Thank You for Your faithfulness, Your generosity and Your wonderful care for all Your children each and every day. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Spiritual Warfare

For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood (contending only with physical opponents), but against... the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.
-Ephesians 6:12

The attacks of Satan against the Church are of a different nature than those in the past days different in that they are more intense than ever before. The enemy will not continuously use the same tactics over and over, because once his method of attack is discovered, it is no longer effective.

More people than ever are experiencing tremendous attacks against their minds. Many of God's people are being attacked with sickness. Some of them are experiencing great financial trauma. People are enduring great attacks of fear.

How can you fight the devil who is the source of these attacks?

1. Praise is one way. Praise is a garment that will protect you from defeat. Put on the garment of praise.

2. Abiding in Christ and fellowshipping with Him is one of the best ways of engaging in spiritual warfare. Hide yourself in God, and His presence will protect you.

3. The Word of God is a two-edged sword. Your mind is the battlefield. When Satan says something to you, speak the Word back.

4. Walking in love is another form of spiritual warfare. Love gives: it is impossible to defeat Satan while leading a selfish lifestyle.

Use your spiritual weapons!

Do This:
Praise the Lord. Speak the Word of God. Abide in Christ. Walk in love. Use these weapons and begin to fight in a new way.

Hello! I am back....

I really want to thank God for everything, for providing for me through out the whole trip.. my first trip to taipei was so fruitful~

ohhhhh.. I LOVE TAIWAN!

They have all the nice food, the latest fashion... totally like a paradise to me! =)

haha... Taiwan Emerge Conference 2006 was a resounding success. the 3 day conference indeed had bought the taiwanese and their churches up another level. I strongly believe that Taiwan will have revival....like never before. Amen

Throughout the whole emerge, I witness and expreience God's presence...we sang all the songs in chinese and i am very sure every word was sang from my heart. Its liek you are in a place that you just want more of God and nothing else.. your eyes are fixed on Him alone.. giving Him your attention... what a wonderful presence we had over there~~~

I served as a usher throughout the conference... its good serving God! :) Had lots of Fun fellowshipping with the taiwanese over there too...

they love Pst Kong and City Harvest Church alot!! I am also totally blown away by the way TAIWANESE love SUN. :) They are all crazy over her....

One of the main highlight is their POC (Parade of cities).

I was there when all the teams are rehearsing..... oh man......My jaw dropped! They did extremely well!!!!!! To speak the truth, they did far better than our own POS teams in Singapore.. You will be amazed by their perfomance! they really perform far beyond our expectation... really solid cheer leading...

As a result, CHC POS team did not perform in the end.. Of cos, I would love to perform... since we practised so hard the past weeks~~~haha... but nevertheless, its through the Pos, i get to know so much new frds....yup..Praise the Lord! ;)

Abide in Christ

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.- John 15:7 KJV

There are some outstanding promises made in the Word of God to those who learn to abide "in Christ." When we abide in Him, we are living in Him, dwelling in a place of protection, and can rest—trusting, leaning, and relying on Him and His promises. Christ is our place of rest, our refuge, a place to settle down into, and wait for Him to do what we could never do.
As we abide "in Christ," our will is joined with His. His desires become our desires; our concerns become the same as His. We become like Him as we abide "in Him."

Jesus said, I am the Vine; you are the branches... (John 15:5). Think about that image for a moment. How long can a branch survive if it is broken off the vine? Christians who have lost, or don't seem to have much life or spark, need to spend more time abiding in the vine. I have found that when I start to feel dry, withered up, and just plain thirsty, what I need is to get back in contact with the vine.

The life of abiding is a peaceful, restful, and fruitful life. Enter in- and abide there!

The difference between discouragement and encouragement IS DETERMINED BY WHOM you depend on- God or man.

There was a certain man there who had suffered with adeep-seated and lingering disorder for thirty-eight years.When Jesus noticed him lying there [helpless], knowingthat he had already been a long time in that condition,He said to him, Do you want to become well? FOR THIRTY-EIGHT years this invalid had tried repeatedly to get into the healing waters, but with no one to help him it was hopeless. Of all those who had been healed at the pool not one remained to help him. Discouragement had taken over his life. His response to Jesus was not an immediate, "Yes, Lord," but a rambling of why he had not been healed.

If your faith is in others, discouragement from their failures to love and care for you will be inevitable. If your faith is in Jesus Christ, healing and wholeness are in Him for you. Jesus is an inexhaustible fountain of healing for whatever you need. Others may have left you behind, but Jesus seeks you out.

Receive from Him the power to rise up and walk through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Love Is...

Love is the new commandment Jesus gave under the New Covenant. The love walk is a liberating lifestyle because it sets us free from self.

Love is a sacrifice - it costs. Every time we love someone, it costs us something. Time, talent, money, or pride may be the cost.

Forgiveness is love; it costs pride to forgive. The flesh is basically lazy and passive; it always wants effortless benefits. Love is effort.

There seems to be a lack of joy among God's people; one of the major reasons is that we often become passive, looking for an effortless lifestyle.

Love is involvement.
It is impossible to have true relationship without involvement. Involvement requires commitment; commitment requires work; work is effort.

Love is an effort; it is an effort to walk in love.

Love is involvement, not isolation. Love requires reaching out. Love says, "I'm sorry," first and initiates the move that can bring restoration and understanding.

Love involves sacrificial giving.
Love doesn't do the right thing to get something; love does the right thing because it is right. Love is healing; love restores.

The month of July is a month of LOVE for my cg.. going to prepare series of Love messages......this is one of them.

Recently, i really felt tired phycially and emotionally... i felt so burden... will not disclose here.. just burden with certain things..fighting the battle alone is tiring...that's why armour bearer are so so so impt. U never know how much your prayer means to me. You never know how much your presence can make a difference...

and thats y last week's service means so much to me...

during the worship, i was kneeling down, crying to God for a breakthrough. Throughout the whole entire worship i was weaping in His presence like a baby calling out for her daddy..there i was, worshipping God with my hands and HEART. Every Lyric means so much... i was truly ministered... the word was simply a message in season for the church especially for the leaders... i went down to the altar crying..at tt point of time, what i need and want is just JESUS... no one else.. i just need Him to be beside me...and i know He was there....

After the service, I felt refreshed and strengthen again! PRAISE THE LORD!

I just need to spend more time with my abba father... felt tt there is alot of areas i need to change~~ i need to do things in a different way to get different results.. i will learn lord, guide me...

I had chose to follow JESUS 6 yrs ago, i am thankful that i am still following Him and i pray that I will never ever live a single day without his Presence.............

IT IS SECOND nature for us to think we must be busy doing the works of God, piling up points with every deed we accomplish. We only want to know how high the pile must get before we've done enough to please God. Jesus says that all the piles of works in the world count for nothing. One thing matters—that you believe in Him. You must first and foremost be a lover of Jesus. That changes everything. How exciting to know Him! When your faith is rooted in love, receiving and giving are natural, and chasing approval is out the window.To receive, believe rather than achieve.

hey guys, has been very busy lately... other than working, I am currently busy with all the rehearsals for Taiwan Emerge POS (CHC Cluster!) Yeah, out of 300, 40 of us
are selected for the POS team... (They select those who had took part in POS before in all previous years...so I am in...) Its has been awhile since i DANCE! yeah, and guess what? I cant believe it! I got selcted to be one of the 16 main dancers...haha. Really got to work harder to get better groove and energy! :)

Oh ya, thru this I also got to know many new frds!! Cheers. :) Its fun to be with them! We only left with 6 rehearsals before we fly to taiwan to perform! We are performing on the Opening night for the whole Taiwan Emerge Conference on 13th July!Man, excited but abit pressure..bcos we are representing CHC youth ministry. So standard must be there! Yeah, but i believed we can do it! AMEN!!!

Cant wait to go taiwan.... haha!

We share a position seated with Christ, yet we continually must resist the wiles of the devil. We have total victory in and through Jesus, yet we must battle. We do not battle from an unknown position but from a position of victory. The battle is won, yet the lawless occupation troops continue to fire. The purge of planet earth, which will result in its deliverance, is still to come. In all this, it is important to focus on Jesus. He has the total victory, and He has everything under control.Yet we must put on our armor. Without the armor we are vulnerable to the arrows of the enemy. The armor provides protection.

Regardless of how patriotic and willing to defend his country a soldier is, without armor, weapons and protection, he becomes an easy target. It is the same way in the spirit world. Even if we are totally committed to Jesus, we must obey the command to put on the whole armor of God in order to resist the enemy fire. Some people dislike using military terminology to describe the Christian life, yet such terminology is prevalent in the Bible and used by Jesus, Himself.A cosmic, spiritual battle for dominion in this world is continually being fought, and we know that in the end, Jesus will be the victor.

Nonetheless, we must not sit idly twiddling our thumbs awaiting this victory. Paul strongly encourages us to use all our weapons to resist the devil. To Timothy Paul said, "Endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ" (2 Timothy 2:3).

Prayer:
I thank You, God, for providing me with all the spiritual weapons I need to fight the battle going on around me. Thank You that Your victory is sufficient. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

THE CHRISTIAN LIFE is a bit of a paradox. Salvation and all you receive comes from God's grace-period. There is absolutely nothing you can bring to purchase your salvation. But to be a disciple of Jesus means He must be first in everything in your life. Spiritual growth comes out of your life falling like a grain of wheat into the earth and dying—a very real death to the flesh.Wherever your own pleasure, gain, honor, or interest comes before Christ it must be put to death with its desires and lusts that the life of Jesus might be everything. The cost, however painful it may feel, is unavoidable that your spirit might be free to enjoy all Jesus has for you.

His Power Toward Believers

[I pray that you may know] what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 1:19-20

Just as God desires for us to be aware of our inheritance in heaven, so too, does He want us to appreciate the availability of His power in us is today. Our inheritance, which will be fully distributed in heaven, contains a great deal that is available to us already today. God’s glory, which we will experience in full in heaven, is also present among us today. Through God’s Spirit the same power that raised Jesus from the dead works in us today. His resurrection power is enormous. Nothing could resist the Spirit of God. No weapon was strong enough to stand against it. No stone was massive enough to hold it back. No death was powerful enough to restrain Jesus.

The resurrection life pressed on, and no one could hinder it. The same life that raised us from the dead now lives in us. This life, this power, is much stronger and more awesome than we can understand. Too often we focus on our weaknesses, for we are weak in ourselves. We are imperfect, yet the Perfect One, the Mighty One, lives in us. He enables us “to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” (Ephesians 3:20).As believers we need to identify with God’s power in us instead of focusing on the weakness of our flesh.

He who lives in us is greater, stronger and wiser than he who lives in the world. His life and His power flow through us. The power of the Spirit is not distant. We do not need to search everywhere for it. It is in us, powerful and active through the Holy Spirit. Begin to identify with, and confess, this resurrection power in your life, and soon you will see its effects.

Prayer:
I thank You, Lord, that Your resurrection power works mightily in me and is available in every situation and for all my needs. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

EMERGE Conference this year is very different and yet special for me... :)

Firstly.....Pst Raymond and his team came to Singapore to join us for Emerge this year! And I am one of the main person in charge to host them during their stay in Singapore! Felt so honour and had really alot of FUN with them.. we are just like one big family! Although, I was tired phycially but yet, i found joy in serving His ppl! They arrived on the 31st May and depart Singapore on 6th June... Throughout their stay in Singapore, we bought them for breakfast, lunch, dinner, supper almost every day, shopping during their free time, and we even managed catched X-men3 together at Plaza Singapura on the first day! Haha...there is alot alot of things we did altogther...but I shall not blog too much on that, if not it going to take me another few days! LOL!

Other than first time hosting the pastors form Indonesia...why this year's emerge is so special is also bcos............

For the first time ever that my own CG members got into the FINALS for Talentime! They are Alex and Joanna..with their BAND, name V.O.A! :) U dun want to know how crazy my cg was during their performance! We are SO EXCITED that we STAND ON THE CHAIRS like nobody's business! We shout, we cheer like never before! hee~ It was fun supporting your own members and I am really VERY PROUD OF THEM! Not only that, Thomas got into Finals for Extreme Sports! He got the 4th position this year! WELL DONE!!

We also got ourselves NEW CG TEE SHIRITS! =)

Sessions with Pst Kong was LIFE CHANGING...................!!!!!! I remember there was this session when Pst pray for all the CGLs.. I felt God's power and wisdom and i cried endlessly in His presence. Felt so touched by God that night.. He was indeed there!

Overall the whole conference was EXCELLENCE, POWERFUL AND AWESOME!!!

Time flies.........emerge had already over for nearly a month....and I had came back from Surabaya for almost 2 months! And guess what my frds?

I am now preparing for the next mission trip to TAIWAN in JULY! !!!!!!!!!!!!!
